Michael Albert McCleery

Michael Albert McCleery

Apr 4, 1962 – Jul 25, 2017

Michael Albert McCleery was born on April 4, 1962 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He is the number three sibling and number two son of Willis and Etta McCleery. Mike experienced one of the most interesting lives of the four McCleery children. He has gone for gusto in everything he has done in life.

Mike had an instinctive ability to adopt activities that most people take years to learn. He also had an infinite patience for teaching others what he learned.

Mike’s warmth and humor were contagious when he was with friends and family.

Michael is survived by Susan, his wife of 29 years; sons, Justin W. McCleery and Steven J. McCleery; parents; siblings; godsister, and their families.

VISITATION begins Saturday, July 29th at 4pm at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W.  Center Rd., followed by MEMORIAL SERVICE at 5pm.  Memorials are suggested to National Headache Foundation, 820 N. Orleans, Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60610, www.headaches.org; click “support NHF” or call 1.888NHF.5552.

All of my thoughts and prayers to Mike’s family. I worked with him at the Rhoden stores and enjoyed every smile, silly joke, or great one liner he came up with. He definitely made an impact on everyone around him and made the world a better place. He will be sorely missed.

Susan, I am heartbroken to read this today. Our heart and prayers are with you as you grieve. Walter & I have fond memories of Mike when he sold us our hot tub. We chatted about car sales and I was blessed to help you have sold 3 homes to this wonderful family. Woodhaven, Mondamin and Sugar Creek. He was much too young to leave this world and he will be missed!
The tri level in Woodhaven, one in Woodhaven and the mansion in Melody Acres in Mondamin
