Diana Abbott Apr 10, 1952 – Sep 21, 2015 Diana died in her home in late September. She began her career as a bookseller in the late 1970s working at Omaha’s first B Dalton Bookstore, which was located in the Center Shopping Center. In 1990 she joined The Bookworm family, where she was employed until the time of her death. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Betty Abbott of Omaha, and by her sister, Gwen Abbott of Columbus, Ohio. She leaves behind scores of loyal customers, many co-workers and a multitude of four-legged, furry friends. She will be sorely missed by all of them. A gathering to celebrate the life of Diana Abbott will be held on Sunday, November 1st from 4pm to 6pm at The Bookworm, 2501 S. 90th St. Memorials are suggested to the animal rescue group of your choice.
