ZARACKI, Alba Marie, Omaha, Nebraska. Born Nov. 15, 1924. She was preceded in death by husband Edward A. Zaracki; parents John and Albina Kotrba; brother Martin; half sister Lillian McAuliffe; step mother Alice Kotrba; sons in law David Resch and Dennis Knickman; Survived by daughters and sons in laws, Judy and Jerry Hespen, Carol Resch, Frances Knickman, Alba and Steve Spitznagle; half sister, Alice Adams; eight grandchildren and eleven great grand children. Alba and her husband Edward were lifetime members of St. Adalbert Church. She enjoyed singing in the Church Choir for 70 years. Alba was a member of the Altar Society and served as president for 13 years. She retired from the UPRR after 23 years of service. She belonged to the Hanscom Park Neighborhood Assoc., UP Old Timers Club and was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #1 and the VFW in Syracuse, NE. Alba loved and cherished her family, enjoyed many years of traveling and family reunions. VISITATION begins Wednesday 5pm with a VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at St. Adalbert Catholic Church (2617 S 31st St). MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Thursday 10am at St. Adalbert Church. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum. Memorials to St. Adalbert Church or Methodist Hospice.
