Annette Kay (Robinson) Pitzer

Passed away at the age of 79.  Preceded in death by husband, Lee Pitzer.  Survived by sisters, Carole Robinson (Zane Gresham) of Marin County, CA and Ardith Stultz of Valley, NE; stepdaughters, Maria Carroll (Keith) of Omaha and Jennifer Livingston (Bill) of Council Bluffs, IA; nieces and nephews: Kelly Franck (Mike), Scott Moore (Amy) of Omaha, Sara Balaban (Brian) of San Diego, CA, and Robinson Harris (Suzy) of Philadelphia, PA; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Annette was born in Omaha, the oldest daughter of George Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson-Forbes, and graduated from Omaha North High School in 1956.  As a long-time member and deacon of Countryside Community Church, she was known to many for her stylish outfits and great laugh.  Annette was an Ambassador at the Orpheum and the Holland Center, volunteered at both the Omaha Community Playhouse and Rose Theater, and was a member of Does of Lodge #1.  She was also a health care aide for more than twenty years, serving as a CNA and sitter at many Omaha area hospitals.  Annette remembered everyone she met, cherished her lifelong friends, and gave a loving home to many animals over the years.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 7th from 4pm to 6pm at Countryside Community Church, 8787 Pacific.  MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, May 8th at 4pm at Countryside Community Church.  Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorials are suggested to Countryside Community Church, Nebraska Humane Society, or Omaha Public Library.

    I truly enjoyed Annette and her mother Mrs. Forbes who died just two years ago at age 95. Both were delightful caring people.
