Survived by wife, Tami Richardson-Nelson; daughters: Kathy Huynh (Doc) of Omaha and Nancy Hanson of Elgin, Il; son, SPC Loy Nelson currently serving in Afghanistan; grandchildren: Jennifer Meyer (Corey), Eric Hanson, Brian Hanson; great-grandchildren: Langston Meyer, Holden Meyer, Townshend Meyer; many other family members and friends. PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE to be held at Valley, NE Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o the mortuary.
