WALKER, Arthur Jul 8, 1925 – Dec 3, 2011 Art is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou (Meehan) Walker; son David (Debi) and grandson Ben; daughter Denise Walker Gooden (John) and grandsons Jeremy, Jake and Jonah; daughter Roxanne Walker Kahn (Bob) and granddaughter Becky and grandson Joe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sam and Tina Meehan Harvey and Sharon Meehan, Fred and Dina Meehan and Raydelle Meehan; along with many other relatives. Mr. Walker passed away peacefully Saturday evening while recuperating at the Rose Blumkin Home. Born in Omaha, he grew up in Omaha and Queens, NY. Art enlisted in the Navy during WWII and also served during the Korean War. He began his automobile career in 1955 and became a new car dealer at Bellevue Motors, selling British Leyland, Jaguar, MG, then Datsun and Nissan. In 1986, Art and David opened Bellevue Nissan which they operated until 1994. GRAVESIDE SERVICE, Monday, 12:00 Noon, Beth El Cemetery, 84th and “L” Street with Full Military Honors. Memorials to Rose Blumkin Home or Beth El Synagogue.
