SVATOS, Dale Alan Dec 8, 1949 May 15, 2014 Preceded in death by father, Laddie Svatos, and infant nephew, Erik Svatos. Survived by wife, Liz Svatos; son, John Svatos; mother, Marcella Svatos; brother, Gary; sister-in-law, Marlene; brother, Dan Svatos; sister-in-law, Jeanne Svatos; sister, Judy Gallagher; nephews: Scott, Doug, Derek, Ryan, and Jacob; nieces Tina and Megan. Dale was born and raised in Yankton, SD. He was blessed with long-lasting friendships from Yankton, UNMC co-workers and friends, Clarkson College friends, and wonderful neighbors. Dale was a US Navy Vietnam War Era Veteran and UNMC Maxilla Facial Prosthetist. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 21st from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7:30pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Thursday, May 22nd at 1pm, St. Robert Bellarmine Church; military rites at church by Benson VFW Post 2503. Committal Service Friday, May 23rd at 11am, Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to Josie Harper Hospice House or American Cancer Society.
