Survived by beloved wife Penny (Francis Dorothy Penaluna) originally of Hampton, IA, now of Sykesville, MD, and sons David M. of Bellevue NE and Denis M. of White Marsh, MD (and his wife Debbie R.), and grand-children Theresa A., Andrew D., and Suzanne M. Garrison, of Bellevue, NE, and younger sister Mariel Wosepka of Wilton, CA. Pre-deceased by older sister Marie L., younger brother Robert O. of East Falmouth, MA, and daughter-in-law Debbie A. (David’s wife). Served in U.S. Army 1943-1965 with a short break around 1946-47. Saw combat in France, Luxembourg, and Germany in WWII; in Korea; and in VietNam. Avid photographer, traveler, car-tinkerer, handyman, gardener, and reader. MEMORIAL SERVICE Thursday, 7 PM, September 21st at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2302 Crawford Street, Bellevue, NE. Private burial later in Hampton, IA. Memorials in Donald’s name to your own church or favorite charity.
