Dwight was born on March 17, 1958, in Postville, Iowa. He was the son of Helen Meyer. He married Kim Locke on December 20, 1980 in Waterloo, Iowa.

Dwight attended the MFL MarMac High School in Monona, Iowa and graduated from Loras College in 1980. Dwight worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation in Des Moines, Iowa until 1981 when he began work as an accountant for Coopers and Lybrand. The family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1986. He moved to ACI in 1991 where he was controller and CFO. His time at ACI took him around the world—to Brazil, Australia, Japan, London, and more.

Beyond ACI, Dwight helped start up numerous businesses including Sojern Inc., Treetop Ventures where he was partner, D3 Banking where he was acting CFO, and multiple other endeavors. Dwight also loved to volunteer his time at St. Stephen the Martyr as an usher, and for Junior Achievement as a community mentor.

Dwight was a kind, devoted man. His passions included time with his wife, Kim, and traveling, golf, skiing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved going to sporting events with family and friends, and always believed time spent together with those he loved was time best spent. He had many friendships, acquaintances, and connections throughout the community, and their impact will live along with his memory.

My condolences on the passing of Dwight. I most remember his smile and positive attitude in High School and the time we spent on the golf course practicing for the team.
