SHUKIS, Edward A., age 90 years, Omaha. Born 08/26/1918 in Omaha. South High graduate, served in Army Air Corps for 5 years during WWII in Europe and Africa. Met and married wife of 62 years in San Severo, Foggia, Italy; retired from U.S. Post Office. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Shukis; brothers, Joseph Shukis and Albert Shukis; brothers-in-law: Mario, Aurelio and Aldo. Survived by wife, Flora Shukis; daughters and spouses: Rose Ann and Warren Kittle, Jean and Terry Meyers, Diana and Scott Moss; sons and spouses: Ed and Donna Shukis, Mark and Joy Shukis; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law in Italy, Enzo and wife Nidia; sisters-in-law, Liliana and Angela; many nieces and nephews. VIGIL SERVICE Thursday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. SERVICES Friday, 11:00 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Thomas More Catholic Church for MASS at 11:30 a.m. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum with military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503.. VISITATION from 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas More Endowment Fund.
