DAHIR, Elias, Dec 19, 1916 Aug 28, 2012. Preceded in death by wife, Loretta M. Dahir. Survived by children: Stephen Dahir, Jenifer Dahir, John Dahir and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Jaime and Isabella; numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his caregivers, who were like family to him. During WWII, Elias served in the Air Force as a Commander, piloting B-17 airplanes on 50 missions in North Africa, Italy and France. VISITATION Thursday, Aug 30, 5pm to 7pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, Aug 31, 10am, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery with military honors by Offutt AFB Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to Siena/Francis House or Our Lady of Lourdes Education Fund.
