Elizabeth A. Coble

COBLE-Elizabeth A.(Betty), age 85 years, Omaha. Born in Minnesota Jan. 8, 1921. Moved to Omaha from Wisconsin with Mom, Dad, and seven siblings to make Omaha her home. Before moving to Omaha, Betty served in the WAVES. Betty held a well respected polition as Secretary for Omaha City Council for 25 years and was fondly referred to as “Betty Council Coble”. “Aunt Betty” leaves a tradition with her many nieces, nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews with her annual “Ho Ho” party. A Christmas time event at her home and all the little ones would receive a little sack containing surprises and always a package of Ho Ho’s. They all loved their Aunt Betty. Preceded by Parents Bill & Nora Sullivan, Bro Norman Sullivan. Survived by son Michael & Gina Coble and Grandson Shea , Naperville, IL; Brothers Tom & Marilyn Sullivan, WI; Mike & Carol Sullivan, IL; Jimmy Sullivan, WA, Jerry & Gayle Sullivan, Omaha. Sisters: Melva Peterson, Kathryn Rushmann, Patsy Wheeler,all of WI; Ethel Dougherty Wall, Omaha; Noreene & Bill Lange, FL; Jackie & Terry Strawhecker, AZ. MEMORIAL Services will be held on Sunday, December 16th, 2:00pm, West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation or the Salvation Army.
