Retired from US Navy as Sr. Chief Petty Officer after 22 years of service where he earned his bachelor’s degree in hospital administration; served through Korean and Vietnam Wars. Served 13 years as V.P. of John Muir Memorial Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA; moved to Omaha in 1982 to join Mercy Midlands/Bergan Mercy Hospital System as Sr. V.P., retiring in 1993. Member American Legion Post 374, VFW Post 8334, Fleet Reserve Association. Preceded in death by father, Henry J. Kaiser; mother, Rose Kaiser; brothers, Henry Jr., Merrill and Daniel; granddaughter, Rachael Dodds. Survived by wife of 32 years, Talli; daughters: Terri Dodds and husband Russell of Papillion, NE, Patty Harvey and husband Bob of Omaha; grandsons, Josh and Kyle Dodds; granddaughters, Kelli and Kristi Dodds; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Vigil Service: Friday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Services Saturday, 11:00 a.m., West Center Chapel, with full military honors by Millard American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 8334. Private interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to American Cancer Society, NE Heart Association, or Fleet Reserve Association. Visitation from 4:00 p.m. Friday at the West Center Chapel.
