Preceded in death by father, Sherman Gillett; grandson, Hank Simmons. Survived by wife, Barbara; children: Jeanine Simmons (Trevor), Jacob Conford (Alyssa), and Sarah Gillett; three grandchildren; mother, Barbara Gillett; brother, Joel (Anita); sisters, Marcia Alder (Larry) and Nancy Gillett; numerous nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL Monday, February 13th, 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,11027 Martha St, Omaha, NE 68144. Interment Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 11am at Grand Island, Nebraska Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association.

My deepest condolences to the Gillett and extended family. We used to visit my mother=in=lawn and father-in-law and they lived across from the Gillett family on Emmett street.
