Margaret E. Hansen May 3, 1920 – Jul 31, 2016 Margaret Ethel Stone Hansen was born in Fontana, CA. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after living a full life to the very end. She was preceded in death in 2012 by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert E. Hansen. She was raised in California by her mother, Fern Stone, with her four sisters: Ruth, Claris (Frances), Laura and Fae. She served in the Coast Guard during World War II where she met Robert while stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. She came to know Jesus in 1975. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Michael Hansen (Debbie) and Jane Scheufler; her grandchildren: Amy Hansen Schwinghamer (Scott), Margaret Carpenter Honeycutt (Jonathan), Leah Hansen Chambers (Jamie), Claire Carpenter, and Mary Carpenter; her great-grand-children: Luke Billingsley, Eli Schwinghamer, Carson Chambers, Alex Chambers, Vivian Schwinghamer, Grace Honeycutt, Lily Carpenter, and Andrew Honeycutt. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7th, from 4pm to 6pm at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd. SERVICES Monday, August 8th at 11am at Victory Church, 6330 No. 56th St., 68104. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park with military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Victory Church.
