Harold E. Dickinson

Harold E. Dickinson, age 79, of Logan, Iowa passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa. Harold was born November 3, 1935 in Logan, Iowa to Roy and Nettie (Kellogg) Dickinson. Harold graduated from Logan High School. He served his country in the Army for three years. Harold was involved in many facets of farming from dairy farming, turkey farrowing house, row crop, to his love of ranching with a cow-calf operation. He loved being a cowboy, Harold married Avis Marie Hodges in 1959 at the Christian Church in Logan, Iowa. Harold loved horses and endurance racing with horses. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Nettie (Kellogg) Dickinson, sisters; Dorothy Grosvenor, Eva McMillen, brothers; Donald, Leroy, and Bob Dickinson. Harold is survived by his wife Avis Marie Dickinson of Logan, Iowa, children; Rickey Dickinson of Logan, Iowa, Debra Marie Beeson and husband John of San Diego, California, Stephanie Dickinson of Woodbine, Iowa, Cynthia Morton and husband Bob of Logan, Iowa, grandchildren: Bobby Morton and wife Katie and kids Sydney and Noah, Ryan Chase and wife Lezlie and kids Skyler and Everett, Jeremiah Morton and wife Kara and daughter Vivian, Jason Beeson, Nathaniel Morton and wife Taylor, Laura Beeson, Benjamin VanOttherlou.
