Survived by wife, Mary Mitchell of Omaha; son, Hal Mitchell (Veronica) of San Jose, CA; daughter, Janet Novak (William) of Omaha; 6 grandchildren: Kevin Novak, Carrie Novak, Nicholas Novak, Kelli Novak, Serena Mitchell, and Matthew Mitchell. The family will receive friends Thursday, 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. PRIVATE Graveside Service was held at Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
