Amen. John Eric Anderson, age 51, of Harlan, Iowa formerly of Logan, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home in Harlan, Iowa. John was born March 7, 1963 in Harrison County to William Ronald and Eileen (Eisenach) Anderson. John graduated from the Logan High School in 1981. He was employed with Capital Construction as a bridge builder. John was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sons: Eric Anderson, Dakota Anderson both of Logan, Iowa; brothers: Jim Anderson of Arkansas; Rick Anderson of Florida; step-father: Ben Grundmeier and wife Mary of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Step brothers: Benjamin Grundmeier of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Blake Grundmeier and wife Dee of Ft. Dodge, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan with Pastor Rusty Hedger officiating. Music selections will be Amazing Grace and Go Rest High On That Mountain. Final resting place will be in the Logan Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at Docs Roadhouse in Logan, Iowa after the committal service.
