John Gilmore O’Rourke, M.D.

O’ROURKE, John Gilmore “Gil,” M.D., age 72 years, of Jackson, Mich., died January 26, 2009 in Jackson, Mich. He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical School. Dr. O’Rourke was active in Rotary International and was a past District Governor. He was also active in the “Polio Plus” campaign, making four trips abroad. He is survived by wife, Cindy; 3 children; 2 stepchildren; 6 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; sister, Mildred Everroad of Omaha. MEMORIAL SERVICES were held in Jackson, Mich. The family suggests memorials to the Rotary Foundation.
