Survived by wife, Ann (Bendon) Wieberg; daughters, Angela Maynard (John), Omaha, Susan Buechler, Bellevue, Mary Ann Tietjen (Dan), Omaha, Theresa Cook (Nick), Washington, D.C.; son, Daniel, Omaha; grandchildren, Meg, Elizabeth and Jack Maynard, Kate, Cal and Alex Tietjen; sisters, Elizabeth Bieser, Prospect Heights, Ill., Margaret Payne (Bernal), Hot Springs Village, Ark., Catherine Swarthout (Dave), Vienna, Mo.; brothers, Ben, Arlington, TX, Norbert, Mexico, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Mary Wieberg, Martinsburg, Mo., Hazel Wieberg, Las Vegas, Nev., Rose Marie Basque (George), Omaha, M. Susan Soha (Joe), Columbia, Mo.; brothers-in-law, Paul Bendon (Colleen), Omaha, Michael Bendon (Martha), Charlotte, N.C., Kevin Ryan (Donna), Columbia, Mo.; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son-in-law, Jerry Buechler, brothers, William Wieberg, Jerome Wieberg, sister, Anna Hawley, brother-in-law, Robert Bieser, sister-in-law, Margaret (Maggie) Ryan. Memorials to Creighton Prep, Mercy High School, Hospice House, and Alzheimer’s Association. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Mortuary and after 6 p.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church with wake service to follow at 7 p.m. at church. Services Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, with full military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503.
