Robert W. Bob Johnson Sep 30, 1935 Dec 30, 2014 Robert Wayne Johnson, age 79, died peacefully on Tuesday December 30th at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born on September 30, 1935 in Omaha, NE to Eugene Howard and Kathleen Thelma Carter Johnson. He married Marilyn Sue Lancaster in Omaha. They had two children and were later divorced. He later married Lillian, who preceded him in death. Robert grew up in Omaha, surrounded by a large extended family. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He raised his family in Omaha and worked as a carpenter. He later moved to Tooele, Utah, where he worked for the city cemetery department. He retired to the warmer climate of Mesquite, Nevada. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, going to ball games, and socializing with his friends. Survivors include two sons, Coale Johnson (Connie) of Omaha, NE and Craig Johnson (Susanne) of Reno, NV; five grandchildren; brother, Vernon Johnson (Marti) of Seal Beach, CA; sister, Elaine Virza (Robert) of Covina, CA. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Saturday, January 17th at 9:30am, Evergreen Memorial Park; military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503. MEMORIAL VISITATION with family receiving friends Saturday, January 17th from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel.
