VAN HOSEN, Joseph M. May 6, 1930-June 1, 2014 Joe was a loving and beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and talented artist. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, was a graduate of Drake University (Des Moines, IA), and had a successful career in advertising as both a creative art director and as a freelance artist with his own agency. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen E. Van Hosen (Yost). He is survived by his six children: Ann Almsteier (Omaha, NE), Thomas Van Hosen (Atlanta, GA), Michael Van Hosen (Atlanta, GA), Carolyn Van Hosen (Tustin, CA), Margaret Jackson (Eau Claire, WI), and Matthew Van Hosen (Omaha, NE); eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. MEMORIAL MASS Saturday, July 12th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2110 S. 32nd Ave. Private Interment, Calvary Cemetery with full military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503. Memorials are suggested to Parkinsons Disease Foundation or charity of your choice.
