MEJSTRIK-Karen Lynn, age 51 years, Omaha, died after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by father, Robert E. Pierce. She is survived by husband, Patrick J. Mejstrik; children, Noah, Anna and Jared; mother, Evelyn F. Variano (Richard), all of Omaha; sisters: Patricia Stilen (James Surber) of Kansas City, MO, Gail Bos (Alan) of Bennington, NE; brothers: Barry Pierce (Amy), Randy Pierce (Laura), all of Omaha; nieces and nephews. Vigil Service Sunday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Services Monday, 9:45 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Resurrection. Memorials to Mejstrik Children’s Education Fund. Visitation from 12:00 noon Sunday at the West Center Chapel.
