Kenneth Richard “Ted” Rife

Kenneth “Ted” Richard Rife died April 2, 2012 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born May 21, 1936 to David and Margaret (Fox) Rife in Mondamin, Iowa. He was married to Beverly Conyers on July 9, 1955 in Onawa, Iowa. He was blessed with seven children; six boys and one daughter (the youngest). He was a devoted, loving husband for 51 years. He spent many years working for the road department of Harrison County until his retirement. He had many hobbies from stock car racing to woodworking and other activities. Kenneth is survived by Terry and wife Kim of Mondamin, Iowa; Larry and wife Kristi of Mondamin, Iowa; Danny and wife Tara of Mondamin, Iowa; Scotty and wife Laura of Beaver, Oklahoma; Jimmy of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Timmy and wife Tami of Blencoe, Iowa; daughter: Debby and husband Donald Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas: twenty-five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and sisters: Mary Jo Lockling and Lois Stevens of Mondamin, Iowa; Dorothy Rounds of Carson, Iowa. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents and many brothers and sisters, grandson Gregg Rife. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Mondamin Community Center following the committal service.
