In Loving Memory Of Lewis Redmond Wood Graveside Service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 Bigler Grove Cemetery Woodbine, Iowa Lewis Redmond Wood, age 87, of Logan, Iowa passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Lewis was born January 25, 1925 in Woodbine, Iowa to Elmer J. and Anna S. (Carr) Wood. He was a farm-hand and also worked at the Rock Quarry. Lewis served in the Army during WW II. Survivors include his niece: Norma Wood of Logan, Iowa; special friend: Betsy Kill and husband Jim of Magnolia, Iowa. Visitation will be open Monday at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa. Military Honor will be conducted by the VFW Post 6256 and OHara Seeley Post.
