BEIGHTOL-Linda C. (Daugherty), age 62 years, Omaha, joined her heavenly father on 1/1/2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born 6/6/1945 in Omaha to the late Gerald L. and Geraldine B. Daugherty. She is survived by her loving and devoted partner of more than 20 years, Ronald Anderson; children and spouses: Lisa and Rick Gray, Larry and Buffy Beightol, Laura and Bob Scigo; siblings and spouses: Loretta “Lauri” and Bill Shafer, Leanne and Tom Hope, Gerald and Lorraine Daugherty; grandchildren: Stephen, Sarah, Bailey, Brooke and Ryan; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was welcomed into her heavenly home by her parents and grandparents. Celebration of Life Memorial Service Friday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Inurnment Saturday, 11:30 a.m., Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Omaha Down Syndrome Society Parents Network, 5009 Izard St., Omaha, NE 68132. Family will receive friends Friday, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel.
