LINDA S. FRAIN, age 66, of Logan, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Linda was born April 4, 1944 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Leonard and Betty (Smith) Strum. Linda lived most of her life in Logan. She was married to Alvin R. Frain, February 12, 1972 in Logan, Iowa. Linda was a homemaker and she loved her family. She had raised several of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Logan Christian Church. Survivors include her husband: Alvin of Logan, Iowa; children: Timothy McHugh and significant other Jan of Warrenton, Missouri; Tina Moyer and significant other Walter of Logan, Iowa; Troy McHugh and wife Susan of Eldon, Missouri; Toby McHugh and significant other Stacy of Logan, Iowa; Patrick Frain and wife Gina of Omaha, Nebraska; mother: Betty Strum of Logan, Iowa; brothers: Lonnie Strum of Logan, Iowa; Robert Strum and wife Sherry of Omaha, Nebraska; eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her father Leonard Strum, daughter Terri and brother Raymond. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday with family visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
