WHITNEY, Lorraine Mary Jan 29, 1923 Oct 16, 2013 Lorraine passed peacefully at Comfort Care Homes in Omaha. For many years Lorraine worked in telephone communications at Offutt Air Force Base, and retired from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Born in rural Hartington, Nebraska to Louis and Elizabeth Kramer. Survived by sons, Terry Whitney and David Whitney; grandchildren: Michael, Jacob, and Laura Whitney, and Emily Hartle. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Irene Thoene and Doris Ann Cope; brothers, Edwin and Alvin Kramer; ex-husband, Donald Whitney. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, October 19th at 12:30pm at the West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Mount Michael.
