JEPSEN, Lynn Marie (Starzl), Jun 29, 1947 Oct 26, 2010. Omaha, NE; passed away after a two-year illness. She was born in Emerson, NE, the eldest child in a family of 9 children born to Clarence and Evelyn (Koopman) Starzl. Growing up in Emerson, she attended school at Sacred Heart and graduated from high school in 1965. She then moved to Lincoln, NE where she was a nursing student at St. Elizabeths. She later did clerical and office work in Lincoln. Lynn married Gary Jepsen and they were blessed with 3 sons: Sean, Pat and Nick. They made their home in the Norfolk and Omaha areas. Lynn was a stay-at-home mom for many years. For the past 20 years she lived and worked in Wakefield, NE, where she was employed at the Fair Store and the Wakefield Care Center. Lynn was generous to all who knew her. She was a devoted mom and proud grandma. All of those who got to know Lynn knew she was always wonderful. She enjoyed her peace and solitude. Her interests included a love of reading, listening to music, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Starzl, and her brother, Mike. She is survived by 3 sons: Sean (Tiffany) of Gilbert, AZ, Pat (Hillary) of Omaha, and Nick of Wayne, NE; 4 brothers: Don (Nancy) Starzl of Sioux Falls, SD, Pat (Terri) Starzl of Mesa, AZ, Doug (Dana) Starzl of Kearney, MO, Mark (Marci) Starzl of Omaha; 3 sisters: Theresa (Rich) Anderson of Emerson, NE, Lori Peters of Mesa, AZ and Roni Norman of Kearney, NE; 2 granddaughters: Caitlyn and Gracie Jepsen of Wayne, NE; many nieces and nephews. SERVICES Friday, 10:30am, West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
