FRISBIE, Marjorie R., Dec 18, 1922 Feb 25, 2012. Beloved wife and devoted mother, died on Feb 25, 2012. She attended Iowa State University as an art major and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. A gifted painter and sculptress, avid golfer & enthusiastic bridge player, she had a wide variety of interests, but her main focus was on her family. She took pride in each one and encompassed each with an unwavering love. In describing her family, her favorite expression was Not a cull in the bunch. She was preceded in death by parents, J. Fred and Bess M. Barnes; sister, Joanne Barnes Cosgriff; brothers, James and Robert Barnes. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Alfred L. Frisbie; children, Victoria (Ted) Roche, Mark (Karen) Frisbie, Stephen (Michell) Frisbie; grandchildren: Angela (Mic) Boettner, Jennifer (Brian) Lesac, Luke Frisbie, Samantha Frisbie, Carli (Tim) Stoller; great-grandchildren: Miley and Josephine Lesac, and Tara Whitfield; sister, Maxine Barnes Nurse. VISITATION begins Wednesday, 10:30am, followed by SERVICES at 11am at the West Center Chapel. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Open Door Mission, Salvation Army, Countryside Community Church or charity of your choice.
