MARVIN LEROY LEVELL, age 76, of Carter Lake, Iowa passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010. Marvin was born February 1, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska to Kenneth and Ailene (Sudduth) Levell. Marvin served in the Army. Marvin was married to Donna Rhoten, June 11, 1966. Donna passed away in 2004. Marvin was a truck driver and drove for Romans Transportation, he also was very mechanical and could fix anything. Marvin enjoyed his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter: Denise McDuffie and husband Jim of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sons: Marvin Jr. of Carter Lake, Iowa; Kenny and wife Laura of Magnolia, Iowa; Tommy and spouse Mark of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers: Kenny Levell; Lanny Levell; Butch Levell; sister: Cheryl Bowman; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Marvin was preceded in death by parents, wife Donna, brothers, Jack, Roger and Micky. A Prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ron Riley officiating, family visitation will follow at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Christian Church in Logan following the committal service. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 6256 and OHara Seeley Post.
