Born on June 6, 1932 to Lillian (Krings) and Clem Neurohr, Mary Ann Sus was best known to friends and family as Bunny. She was born on a farm in Lindsay, Nebraska. She moved from the farm to Humphrey at the age of 2½ with her mother and grandfather after her father passed away unexpectedly due to a ruptured appendix.

Bunny attended St. Francis School until her senior year. After the death of her grandfather she moved to Columbus with her mother. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Columbus in 1951.

She met the love of her life, Joe Sus in Columbus, NE. They were married on September 23, 1954 after which they moved to Omaha. Over the next several years they welcomed children Bob, Kathy and Nan.

Bunny devoted her life to raising their family. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family and spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Bunny will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe and son, Bob. She is survived by her loving daughters, Kathy Sus Spitsen (Jim) and Nancy Sus-Langenfeld (Gene); grandchildren: Joe (Jess), Nick, Matt, Rachel, and Elise; and great-granddaughter, Isabel, as well as nieces and nephews.
