BOSSELMAN-Megan Renee, age 27 years, Omaha, died Easter Sunday after a 4 year battle with adrenal cancer. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Dirk Cooley of Lincoln, NE; grandparents, Clarence and Edith Bosselman of Grand Island, NE. She is survived by her parents, Dann and Valerie Bosselman; brother, Ryan Bosselman; grandparents, Charles and Beverly Wilscam, all of Omaha; aunts, uncles and cousins. Services Friday, 11:00 a.m., Trinity Church Interdenominational, 156th & West Dodge Road. In lieu of flowers, Megan requests you to heal a broken relationship. Dear Valerie,
I am wondering if this site is still active. But, in the hope that it is, I just wanted to share my sorrow with you regarding the death on Megan. I met her when she was 3 days old and knew her and you during the time she was a little baby. A whole life-time has taken place since then. Even when a life is short it’s a whole life.
I read the text you have posted on-line and was very touched by it. Megan’s life, and all the prayers and thoughts surrounding her during her life and sickness bonded many friends and family together. The prayers did change people even if the “outcome” filled all with great sadness.
I can’t fill you in on so many years of my life here but I can say that I do know the pain and heartache of losing a child myself. I wish you God’s strength and “rest” in knowing that God does use every circumstanse — even if it takes years or even decades to see how. I remember hating it when people said that to me in my grief, but it did
