Nancy Foreman-Fransecky

FOREMAN-FRANSECKY-Nancy, age 67, Omaha, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2008. Beloved wife of Roger, she brought light, laughter and love to her family, her wide circle of friends and to all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, William Connell, of Chicago, Jeffrey Connell of San Diego, her sister, Donna Foreman of Denver, her brother Jeff, of Kearney, NE, and her mother, Donna Watters of Mulberry, Florida. Nancy enjoyed a life rich with experiences, and a career of accomplishment. She served as Lifestyle Correspondent for the NBC “Today” Program from 1980-88, she hosted television programs in Buffalo and Cincinnati, produced video for Career Track of Boulder, CO, and worked as an independent writer and producer for several decades. Her book, “Bound For Success,” was published in 1985. She received the Napoleon Hill Award in 1989, and the Nebraskaland Foundation’s Pioneer Award in 1984. She received her B.S. degree in education from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1963, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was Miss Nebraska in 1961. She was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Nebraska by the National Association of State Universities in 1987. SERVICES: A Celebration of Life, Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 10 a.m., at the West Center Chapel.
