What an amazing teacher who truly impacted my life's work! Not only do I literally use my physics every single day, but Dr. Kennedy truly lived the mission of Creighton and set an example for us all by his life of service to the university and its students. I am sorry for your loss.

As a student of Dr. Kennedy, I learned that Physics could be real and consumable. When he was dean, his request for meaningful course evaluation reports was enlightening and I was delighted to provide these for him. In recent months, he always had a smile and a sincere greeting when we passed. He will be remembered fondly by many at Creighton. Blessings to all of you.

Bob led by example; a voice of reason and able to keep us focused on the larger picture. I fondly remember our encounters and adventures as fellow science chairs, as raconteurs comparing experiences in the underwater world, and as friendly but serious competitors on the Kiewit Center racquetball courts. I'll miss you Bob. With deep appreciation for his life and service to our university, and my condolences to the family he loved.
