HINES, Nicholas J. Feb 24, 1997 – Jan 27, 2014 Nicholas J. Hines, 16, of Omaha, died January 27, 2014. He was born February 24, 1997 in Mason City, IA, the son of Eric and Christine (Leonard) Hines. He attended Skutt Catholic High School through the fall of 2013 and was currently enrolled at Millard West High School. Wrestling was an active part of his life. He also played football and baseball, and enjoyed time spent filming, fishing, and being with friends. Nick was preceded in death by father, Eric; grandparents, Kent Hines and Lyle Knudson. He is survived by his parents, Christine and Barry Knudson; sisters, Meghan and Emily; brother, Jack; grandparents, Donna and Larry Leonard, Kay Hines, and Tahma Knudson; and other loving relatives and friends. VISITATION begins Thursday, January 30th at 5pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Friday, January 31st at 11am at Christ Community Church, 404 S. 108 Ave. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial to the family for their choice of charity.
