John E. Nicolaisen Jul 11, 1934 – Oct 21, 2016 Age 82. Preceded in death by daughter, Jamie Sturges; parents, John and Meta Nicolaisen; three brothers and five sisters. Survived by wife, Betty (Gossin) Nicolaisen; daughter, Johna Sullivan (Justin); son, Chris Nicolaisen (Lisa); grandsons: Nathan and Brody Nicolaisen, Dakota Sullivan (Taylor), and Taylor Sturges; sister, Martha Mikelson; sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Fred Scarpello; brother-in-law, Bill Gossin; sister-in-law, Betty Nicolaisen; nieces and nephews; faithful companion, Snoopy. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25th from 5pm to 7pm at the Bel Air Chapel. Interment, Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa. Memorials will be directed by the family.
