DUFFY, Patricia Anne, Sep 21, 1936 Jan 29, 2010. Beloved wife and mother. Preceded in death by father, Bernard, and stepdaughter, Julia Stewart. Survived by husband, Thomas J. Duffy of Gretna; mother, Martha Ficke of Omaha; children and spouses: Michael (AnaMarie) Smith of Kearney, NE, Thomas (Shirley) Smith of Allentown, PA, Theresa (Thomas) Curran of Yankton, SD, Loretta (John) Warner, Elizabeth (Jody) Hankenson, Kevin (Mary) Smith, all of Omaha, Jennifer (Jeff) Chubb of Gretna; stepchildren: Benjamin (Mary Ann) Duffy, Joseph Duffy, Robert (Rhonda) Duffy, Matthew Duffy, Maggie Duffy and friend, Stuart Hald, all of Omaha; brothers and spouses: Richard (Pat) Ficke, Al (Judy) Ficke; sisters and spouses: Rita (Frank) Pecha, Carol (Richard) Wieseler. From the happy union of Thomas and Patricia came 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Patricia drew strength from her relationship with God, her family and friends. She felt it was more important to give than to receive. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, volunteer work and quilting. VISITATION with the family begins Tuesday, 5pm, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gretna with WAKE SERVICE at 7pm. FUNERAL MASS Wednesday, 10am, St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment Wednesday, 1pm, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Patricks Social Hall Fund or Holy Family Shrine.
