WASHKA, Patricia J. Mar 12, 1939 – Sep 1, 2013 Preceded in death by husband, Richard A. Washka; parents, Joseph and Josephine O’Connor; grandson, Travis; sister, Bonnie L. Speckhals. Survived by children: Judith Turnage of Memphis, TN, Todd Washka of Dallas, TX, Tammy Jefferis and husband Bob, and Colleen Hernandez, all of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Over 25 years of volunteer service for Girl Scouts of America Council. VISITATION begins Thursday, September 5th at 4pm with VIGIL SERVICE to follow at 6pm at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association, Nebraska Heart Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Nebraska Diabetes Association.
