GOYETTE, Patty (Hornbeck) Oct 1, 1924 Apr 3, 2010 Age 85; passed away at LifeCare Center of Elkhorn near Omaha, NE. She was born in El Dorado Springs, MO, to Ora Jefferson Hornbeck and Mina (Lovins) Hornbeck. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ora J. She was married in 1942 to Russell Goyette, who was born in 1917 and preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by their two daughters, Betty Anderson (Mike Soyland) and Christina Goyette of Omaha; 3 grandchildren: Dusty and Sarah Anderson of Omaha and Katie Anderson of Denver, CO; sister Loretta and brother-in-law Kenneth Wayne Wood of El Dorado Springs; sister-in-law Millie Hornbeck of Topeka, KS; nieces and nephews; and loving friends Maddie and Harv Fraser and Cathy and Walt Jonderko. She was married to John Halbleib, Sr. of Omaha in 2001; he preceded her in death in 2006. Patty was retired from Bankers Life in Lincoln, NE. Russell served aboard the submarine Pargo in World War II and was honored with the Silver Star. Patty and Russell were laid to rest together in Omaha at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in the American Legion Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the ASPCA.
