Carol E. Prokop Oct 11, 1940 – Mar 14, 2015 A retired Administrative Assistant with ConAgra, Carol spent her entire childhood in Bristow, Nebraska, graduating from Bristow High School in 1958. After moving to Omaha, she attended business college and was very active in AA. Carols deep faith was very important to her and sustained her through many trials. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Agnes Prokop. She is survived by her sister, Jan Flanders (Gary); her nephews and nieces: Doug Hrbek (Ann), Brenda Hrbek, Stephanie Kocian (fiancé, Chris Mandel), and Jason Hrbek (Christina); her uncle, William Scheinost; her aunt, Mary Ann Pavlis; numerous grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 21st from 9am to 11am, followed by FUNERAL at 11am, all at the West Center Chapel. Inurnment at the National Cemetery in Spencer, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family.
