Quentin L. Hoffman age 80 of Persia, Iowa passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Quentin was born November 1, 1934 in Persia, Iowa to Ira and Alice (Kern) Hoffman. Quentin graduated from the Persia High School. He farmed for many years and was the sexton of Valley View Cemetery in Persia for many years. Quentin enjoyed taking drives. Quentin was preceded in death by his parents,, brother-in-law, Myron Albers, nephew, Dennis Albers, special friend, Ruth Bradley. Survivors include his sister: Lois Albers of Persia, Iowa; nieces and nephews. Burial was held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. It was Quentins request to have a private family burial in the Shelby Cemetery.
