MARTUFI, Randolph A. Randy Mar 4, 1967 Oct 23, 2014 Randy, age 47 years, of Omaha, passed away early afternoon on Thursday, October 23rd after a long illness. The son of Jay and Joann Martufi, Randy was preceded in death by grandparents, Pete Martufi and Anna Lou Martufi Beam, Walter and Nancy Walz; aunt, Arlene Kukowski; granduncles and grandaunts. In addition to his parents, he is survived by uncles: Wallace (Loretta) Walz, Dennis (Linda) Walz, and Loren Kukowski, all of northern Minnesota; grandaunt, Betty Meador Simpson of Sandy, Utah; step-grandfather, Herbert Beam; numerous first and second cousins; special caregivers: Scherone Clark, James Williams, and Gene LeDuc; numerous friends. Randy was born at March Air Force Base in Riverside, CA. An outstanding Special Olympian in his youth, he enjoyed being with family and pets, shopping, laughing, and time spent with his beloved cousins on the farm in Minnesota. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 28th from 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Wednesday, October 29th at 10am at the West Center Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the family or to Nebraska Humane Society.
