MOORE, George Nov 16, 1949 Nov 24, 2012 Pastor George Moore lived his life “on a journey with the living Christ”- and he continues on this journey in eternity. He was a tender and loving husband, father, friend and shepherd. He served faithfully on Young Life Staff in Indianapolis for 15 years, as an associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs for 6 years and as the senior pastor of West Hills Church in Omaha for the past 18 years. His passion was to know Jesus and make Him known throughout the world, and he worked faithfully with pastors throughout the city to bring God’s Kingdom to Omaha. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Caroline and is survived by wife, Pam; children: Joshua (Cookie), Zachary and Emily; grandchildren, Ayahna and Christian; brothers, Robert “Bobby” (Lynn) and Thomas “Chip” (Sally). MEMORIAL CELEBRATION Saturday, December 1 at 10am at West Hills Church, 3015 S. 82nd Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to West Hills Church or Omaha Young Life.
