Robert B. Batchelder

Batchelder, Robert B., Feb 1, 1933 – Feb 14, 2011. Age 78, of Omaha. Retired General Commerce Counsel for UPRR. An avid supporter of Omaha’s cultural arts, Mr. Batchelder served on the Community Advisory Board of KVNO Classical Radio, the Omaha Symphony Board, and the Board of Countryside Community Church. Preceded in death by wife, Fran and son, Kenneth. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Leanne Batchelder Jr.; grandchildren, Andrew and Benjamin Batchelder, all of Carmel, IN; sister, Patricia Batchelder Melrose of Lake Oswego, OR. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, 1pm, Countryside Community Church, 8787 Pacific. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Countryside Community Church, Omaha Symphony, or American Heart Association.
