Robert Bradley

BRADLEY, Robert T. “Bob,” age 71 years, of Omaha, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with brain cancer. Bob was born April 24, 1937 in Grinnell, IA to Harold and Roberta (Gooch) Bradley. He grew up with sisters Betty and Janet in Des Moines, IA, where he graduated from high school before joining the Navy. Bob worked at Northwestern Bell/US West as an engineer for many years until his retirement from there. He then worked for several other telecommunications companies until he finally retired in 2002. He met Nancy, the love of his life, in 1984 and they were married in 1987. They both felt blessed to have had more than 21 years together. Bob loved activities that involved speed, including skiing, motorcycling and rollerblading. He also loved and enjoyed participating in the wonders of the natural world. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy A. Bradley; children and spouses: Michelle Bradley, Robert Bradley, Jr. and wife Cathy, Scott Bradley, Christopher Bradley, Jeffrey Bradley and wife Jennifer, Daniel Bradley; sisters, Betty Cady and husband Tom, and Janet Albright. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday 2/28 at 11:00am at Central Presbyterian Church, followed by luncheon and time for visitation. Memorials are suggested to Central Presbyterian Church, 726 S. 55th Street, Omaha, NE 68106.
