DOMAYER-Robert L. “Bob, “age 82 years, Omaha, joined his beloved Gini in Heaven on Father’s Day, June 15, 2008. The youngest of 11 children, he was born on March 30, 1926, to Frank and Magdalena (Rahm) Domayer in Templeton, IA. Charter member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church; retired Letter Carrier; 50-year Gold Member of NALC Branch 5; decorated US Army WWII Veteran; member of the Greatest Generation. He was preceded in death by his soul-mate and wife of 59 years, Virginia; parents; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; son-in-law, Richard Bohbot. He is survived by his 7 children: Debra, Michael, Robyn Bohbot, Mark, David, James (Katie), and Tricia; 7 grandchildren: Sam and Stacie Stanfield, Rebekah, Timothy and Joshua Domayer, Jacob and Marissa Domayer; brother, Gene Domayer of Sun City, CA; sisters: Rosalie Albaugh of Decatur, IL, Dolores Elliott of Waterloo, IA; many nieces, nephews and friends. Vigil Service Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Services Thursday, 10:00 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Thomas More Catholic Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest with full military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association/Great Plains Chapter, or American Parkinson Disease Association/Nebraska Chapter. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, with family receiving friends 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel.
