Roma J. Sears, age 74, of Logan, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her home in Logan. Roma was born March 14, 1940 in Logan, Iowa to Harold E. and I. Leota (Clark) Dague. Roma attended school at Logan-Magnolia and graduated with the class of 1958. On, April 7, 1962 Roma was united in marriage to Robert D. Sears and to this union four children were born. Roma worked as a baker for Logan-Magnolia School and she also worked as a CAN for the Westmont Care Center in Logan. Robert passed away June 27, 2013. Roma enjoyed Church, cooking, baking, exercise class with the ladies and Delvers Club. Roma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister, Jane Collins and brother-in-law: Michael Squier. Survivors include her children: Rick Sears and wife Laura of Winterset, Iowa; Robbie Sears and wife Carole of Logan, Iowa; Rhonda Sears of Logan, Iowa; Roshelle Downey and husband Roger of Logan, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister: Darlene Squier of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brother: Pat Dague and wife Esther of Dunlap, Iowa; brother-in-law: Don Collins of Logan, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
