Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Dorothy Anderson. Survived by wife of 65 years, JoAnn A. Anderson; children: Gregory Anderson, Rhonda Fry (Roger), and Jeffrey Anderson (Kelly); four grandchildren: Ryan Fry, Regan Fry, Jace Anderson, and Maddie Anderson; sister, Sarah Erickson.
SERVICES Saturday, Feb. 25th at 2:30pm at the Bel Air Chapel, followed by VISITATION. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.

So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I always enjoyed talking with Ron about a variety of things as well as the Central City/Polk area. Our thoughts and prayers are with you JoAnn and your family. We are in Arizona so we cannot be at the funeral.

I would like to pass along my sincere condolences to the family of Ron Anderson. He was a good friend and colleague of mine at Doane College. We were on the same basketball team and attended classes together. He was very popular and was a great athletic and later on an outstanding educator in the Omaha system.. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed,
Velma and I both knew Dr. Anderson from our work in OPS.. We are very sorry to hear of his death. Our sympathies go to all of his family.
JoAnn, I will always be grateful to Ron for expediting my hiring at OPS. I know he made some phone calls because suddenly the Director of the music department was VERY interested in me! I appreciated the fact that you and Ron came to my senior recital in 1975. Julie Dickmeyer Mahoney
