KRISINGER, Rose R., age 84 years, of Omaha, passed away peacefully at The Waterford at Miracle Hills Assisted Living Facility in Omaha on January 30, 2009. She was born August 7, 1924 in Sioux City, IA, daughter of Joseph and Rose (Medisauskas) Dispetris. Rose graduated from East High School in Sioux City in 1943. She was a secretary for Armour and Company for 13 years. She married Albert C. Krisinger in Des Moines, IA, in July 1947. In 1958 they moved to Ida Grove, IA, where she was Secretary for the Selective Service Board for 2 years, and then owned and operated Kris Kringles Kitchen restaurant for 13 years. After they sold their business, they moved to Omaha in 1985. She was active in many organizations. She was president of her parishs Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society and a charter member and president of the Horn Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Ida Grove, IA. In Omaha, Rose was president of her Boardwalk Condominium Association and the first female President of the Omaha chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). She was proud of her Lithuanian heritage and took Lithuanian language classes until recently. She was also an avid Big Red fan and climbed to her seat in Memorial Stadium as late as last year. Survivors include two sons and their wives: Christopher and Denise Krisinger of Burke, VA, and Kevin and Christie Krisinger of Albuquerque, NM. This includes five grandchildren: Joshua and Jacob Krisinger, Jason Belsher, and Jennifer and Kathryn Krisinger. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years in 1995, parents and one sister, Julie D. Davies. VIGIL SERVICE Sunday, 4:00 p.m., West Center Chapel.
